It was all fun and games at the recently concluded End of Year Funfair held on the 6th of December 2017 in the school premises. From bouncing castles to horseback rides to train rides and lots more, there were enough activities to keep our pupils thoroughly entertained all through the day.
It was very colourful at this year’s Independence/Cultural Day as pupils, staff and parents donned various cultural attires to represent the ethnic groups embodied in our nation Nigeria. Various local mouthwatering delicacies were on display as well, prepared by staff and parents in unison. The Induction of the PIONEER students of our Day Secondary School held on the 21st of September 2017 at the Victory Hall of our Stadium Road school. The new students took the oath of academic integrity after which they made presentations on science, drama and poetry. We welcomed them formally and obliged them to imbibe our culture of diligence and excellence in the pursuit of their respective academic goals.
It is always a joyful and memorable experience whenever hard work and diligence are duly rewarded. It was all fun and games at the Shell Children’s Day Extravaganza held on the 27th of May 2017 at the Shell Residential Area, Port Harcourt. Pupils from schools within the Port Harcourt metropolis were invited to compete in parade and dance events. It was an opportunity for pupils to mingle with their peers and engage in a healthy competition with one another.
We wound down activities for the term with our annual Career and Talent Day event. We had parents of diverse professions offer vital tips to our pupils with the aim of inspiring the belief that with hard work and dedication, they all can achieve their various ambitions.
Nativity Day was a remarkable event this year. Our pupils put up superlative presentations of drama, dance, bible readings and lots more to thrill staff and guests present. It was our curtain closing event for this year and it went off in grand style.
Our end of year extravaganza themed “Wonderland Funfair” held on the 8th of December 2016 at the school premises. It was a party like no other.
